Original Edwardian slate fire surround in Chapel Allerton, West Yorkshire for sale
This is an original Edwardian slate fire surround removed from our dining room to make way for a stove. It has been previously stripped back and painted and is in excellent condition. Our research has found that these fire surrounds are being sold by restoration companies for £1,100 to £2,000+. The surround measures 4' high, 4' 11" wide (5' 4" with slate shelf). We also have the original cast iron tiled insert which is available to buy seperately for £395 (it does not have a canopy or grate). NB This item is very heavy and is for collection only!!
